John R. Grote

Chief Operating Officer / Grote Industries

John Grote is the COO of Grote Industries. John joined the family-owned business in 1999 as brand manager and held positions as marketing manager, Director of Aftermarket Sales, and Global Vice President Sales and Marketing.

He has a BS from Clemson University and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. In 2005, Grote was tapped to lead the company’s efforts in establishing a European office and became the first Managing Director, Grote Industries Europe.

Grote Industries is a leading worldwide manufacturer and supplier of lighting products and safety systems for a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, vocational and passenger vehicles, plus lighting for a wide range used in activities such as farm, construction, firefighting, rescue, mining, and military uses. Grote engineers and manufactures LED, fluorescent, incandescent, and LED LightForm, interior lamps, plus exterior stop, marker, and turn signal lamps, as well as mirrors, power, and communication delivery systems, connections, and reflective accessories.
